Rosemary for Remembrance

Rosemary for Remembrance
As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end, they remain.

This week we have remembered; we have remembered all those people and places
and things that we have loved and lost, and all those who left and didn’t return and all those
who are still with us and yet are slowly slipping away. This is a time to honour and cherish all
those memories, this is a time to remember.

A lovely and simple way to mark this week of remembering is to use some Rosemary Oil this
week. Put a couple of drops in our diffuser or oil burner and allow your home and space to
be filled with the wonderful woody aroma of Rosemary. Using Rosemary like this also has the
added benefit of clearing and refreshing your space as it has such wonderful antibacterial
properties as well.

If you don’t have any Rosemary Essential oil, then you can use some cur Rosemary from the
garden or shop. You can tie a bunch of Rosemary together and then hang it by your door so
that every time you walk into your home, you are greeted with the healing aroma of
Rosemary. Alternatively, you can place this tied up bunch in your bath t help you relax and
unwind. You can even place some under your pillow at night to help you remember your
dreams. If you are struggling with your memory and want to try to invoke your cherished
memories, rub your hands over the Rosemary to release its healing oils and this will also
help release the compounds in Rosemary that help memory performance.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
